Hello my name is Kerry and i absoulty love Great White Sharks i think they are such a interesting hunter of the ocean, one of the best predators of this day and age and they are so fast they could catch, crush and eat a seal in just seconds and still be hungry for more. In this e-book i am going to tell you all about the one and only Great White Shark.
Where would you find a Great White Shark?
Great white sharks live in all coastal temperate waters around the world.
They have been found in waters as shallow as three feet deep and up to 1000 thousand meters deep in the zones illustrated.
As it can bee seen, the east and west US coast, the golf coast, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, the Mediterranean sea, west Africa, Japan and east China.
International Shark Attack File, from 1990 to 2007 there were 110 confirmed great white shark attacks worldwide but only 23 of those confirmed was fatel. Think about it 23 people died in 17 years of those records there is hardley any chances of you getting attacked or dieing.
How do Great white sharks hunt?
Just like dogs sharks rely on sense of smell, It can detect one drop of blood in a million drops of water (25 gallons or 100 liters) and can smell blood 0.25 mile (0.4 km) away, once they have smelt the blood they swim to that exact location at speeds up 25 mph, when they see there prey they sink deep underneath them and then swim as fast as they can and strike there prey so hard and fast sometimes they actually fly out of the water.

There really isn't a true "average size" though. Just most sharks tend to grow to about 12 to 16 feet long.
The Great White's tooth is sharp enough to cut through meat and possibly even wood
A common attack on humans, is when the Shark bites, it will then spit the prey out because the shark will discover that it made a mistake and will then leave it alone.
Great White Sharks have 10 - 15 row of teeth in each jaw and when it looses one another one just moves up to replace it.
How to avoid a Great White Shark Attack?
Here are some ways to avoid a shark attack: Do not splash too much because sharks might possibly think you are a fish that is wounded, therefore it is thrasing around. Do not tease or tempt a shark, even if it is a small ten footer. You would be surprised how a baby Great White can overpower an adult man. Be sure to swim in the shallow water. Most sharks prefer more deeper water. Do not swim if you have an open cut, or you are bleeding. Sharks can sense blood very well. Avoid large schools of fish, or seals since those are a Great White's favorite food. And most important, do not wear red. A Great White could possibly mistake you for an injured a seal or fish.
